My mum's gonna go see it today. So at least I won't be homeless Jobless and moneyless on the other hand ...

Ooh, and I just heard back about my application for a website editing position for the government They're passing my application on - my last one just got rejected at once. I really hope I get it, it sounds like a great job, I'd be perfect at it.

I got the place, had to put up with my mum complaining all the time though. She had to pay one week's rent for me, you'd think she sacrificed an arm. And she started on about the bed and how it isn't mine anyway, cos I didn't pay for it. Whatever, I'm still gonna sell it, I can't afford not to.

Excellent news, IMO - I rate Moffatt much higher than Davies.

Yeah, I'm glad. I couldn't have lived with her or my brother or my grandparents for long This way we won't get on each other's nerves, but we're still close. And I found out it may not cost as much as I thought to send my books and DVDs over, though I'll still have to sell my furniture. Plus I got my check today, for the scholarship, the uni passed on an electricity rebate which means this month's electricity is free, and my teacher cancelled the three hour class. So today's been a good day. I hope karma doesn't have something nasty waiting in the wings for me. I did have to sit through an incredibly boring lecture this morning, and I was still drunk from last night, so I nearly fell asleep.

I really want that job. The pay's great (for someone used to making minimum wage) and the work is practically what I do on here for fun Well, maybe a little more actual 'work' than that, but still. I'm not getting my hopes up, as that never works out all that well, but I'm going to stay optimistic and hope that my luck is finally starting to turn (famous last words?)

If he's the guy who did Blink, cool (though I watched that again on DVD and it didn't have the same impact. Maybe it was too soon).

Yep, it is - and he did *much* more than just 'Blink'. He also wrote the (brilliantly funny, IMO) comedy series 'Coupling' (avoid the US remake ) and the chilling 6-part series 'Jekyll'. I've got pretty high expectations for him...
