Hello and welcome to h2g2, the Earth edition of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy! I'm fords, one of the Assistant Community Editors (<./>ACEs</.>
, here to help you find your way around. As you will have probably gathered, h2g2 is written by people like you and me for people like you and me, but it's also a lovely place to be for all things Hitchhiker! If you're looking forward to writing some entries for the Edited Guide (I'm also a <./>Subeditor</.> now you're all signed up, here's how you can <./>contribute</.>.
Now, I don't like to bombard people with too much information in one go so I have compiled a page of useful information at A811874 for you to peruse at your own leisure, which I hope you find to be of use. But if you do have any questions or queries,

Because BBC staff (including the h2g2 staff) were on strike yesterday and the whole of h2g2 was put on pre-moderation.
So, you want to write something, eh? I suggest you have a look at the <./>writing-guidelines</.>
