The secret to my success is as real as my success. However I have a dark secret - but you're not going to find it out here!
The only likelyhood of my fortune rests with this ruddy Whistle I've been designing for a month, and I can't get the damn thing to work. (Yes, there IS a hidden message in there somewhere, but the only one that will read this and is in the slightest knowledge of the project is the author, so don't even IMAGINE that you'll work the thing out because you won't.)
When will I return to H2G2? When hell freezes over. Or maybe when the Road to Perdition film is released and I bask in all the glory that Richard Rayner really deserves.

I am afraid I have not had the pleasure of meeting you properly but I count this as a blessing. You do seem a bit of a fool, in my opinion, but I may well be wrong (and am willing to admit otherwise if needs be). But all that you are doing here is talking to yourself and relaying pointless information in a vain attempt to interest people. I pity you.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
