Recommending Alexander the Great to Peer Review

The Unmentionable Marauding Pillowcase

Trillian, is it OK if I recommend your "Alexander the Great" entry to Peer Review? Just asking, to make sure I don't something wrong again! smiley - smiley If you have already done so yourself, then please post a message to the "discuss this entry" forum yourself and say there, "I have recommended this entry to Peer Review" etc. and put up a link so that any guy dropping in can go straight to Peer Review and say what he/she thinks.

Anyways you miraculously happen to be the first to write an entry on Alexander the Great so act fast and try to get it into the edited Guide!

Best Wishes,
Willem

I recommended your entry. Here is the link to the thread: http://www.h2g2.com/F4884?thread=88015&latest=1 Check in regularly to see what people have to say about your entry. And if they give good advice, take it! Peer review is the place where other hitchikers can look at and evaluate your entry, and if they think it is good and the scouts and subeditors agree, it goes into the edited Guide. So far the responses about your entry have been favorable, but you need to work a little on your presentation! Take Care Willem

Your entry has been accepted for inclusion in the Edited Guide! Congratulations! Now the long process of editing it starts, so it will be a while before it goes in the Guide, but the subeditors will let you know when that happens.

Just having read all the applause on your entry, I was wondering where it has gone? Following the link leads to an empty page, stating that 'this entry has been deleted' smiley - sadface. Is this a bug, a mistake, or what -- could you please explain?

You see, that means that it has been 'reccomended' or something and they are looking at it so it won't be on for a while. Don't worry. smiley - biggrin

Well, I have searched and searched, and I can only find a page which says "This entry has been deleted"...
Trillian, is it possible you accidentally deleted it?
If so, can you possibly type it out again?
It would be a shame for your entry to miss out.
Getting an email from the Editors saying your entry has been included in the main Guide, is a great thrill!
Let me know if you'd like any help converting your entry into Guide ML, it would look so much better with "Headers"...

Ring, Ring.
There /is/ something going wrong here. I am going to report this case somewhere in the 'bug' section of h2g2. Full stop.
