Hiya, I see you are a friend of psychocandy, who is a dear friend of mine, so reckoned you must be a good 'un!smiley - ok

And now lurked your PS & indeed you DO seem a good'un, animally type & all that & i love the ginger tea recipe!

I am also an ACE, though probably the sites most inept technically; like you i quake at the idea of esnding attachments by email & stuff. But i know lots of people and can now do Copy And Paste;smiley - rofl

Smileys are easy, just run your smiley - mouse over them & it tells you what they are, if you click on any smiley you get to the Home Page of the smileys, which you can print out & then all you do is put< then the name of the smiley, then > but don't leave any gaps, ie smiley - smiley works but < smiley > doesn't!

Well what a nice surprise!! smiley - smiley (see, I've figured them out by trial and error!! What a genius smiley - blush)

I've been having some interesting chats with PC, we share a love of punk music, though her knowledge of the subject is huge, whilst mine is based on the music of my misspent youth. I haven't really moved on, just expanded somewhat if you know what I mean.

Glad you like the Ginger Tea. It's one of my favourites, not only for colds but any excuse like a cold and blustery day is enough to bash up a pot. Should have put my Chai recipe there as well, it seems that everyone has a favourite Chai formula. Perhaps we should do an entry ... 25 different Chai recipes and then have a taste-off.

Yes, animals. My young fellow, Rupert Basilson Bear (Cardigan corgi, poodle, maltese cross ... v. cute), had a go at the lawnmwer man today (most unlike him). We figured out that he (the lawnmower man) had, from Rupert's point of view, broken into the garden and proceeded to vandalize his carefully nurtured bone collection. A slight misunderstanding. No harm done, thank heavens (to the lawnmower man, not Rupert's bone museum).

Anyway, good to hear from you. Drop by anytime, I'll put on some smiley - teasmiley - cake, or even a smiley - ale

Thanks for the invite. Will drop in soon when I have the time and am not feeling shy smiley - blush, being a retiring little flower.

Anyway, this chai idea has got me interested. However, how does one get a number of recipes?? Can you put a post like "chai recipes wanted" and see what happens?? Is that what people do?

Questions questions.

Been madly gardening, getting my herb garden into shape and trying to re-excavate the water feature (now a mass of rubbish, but it used to have frogs in it and a little waterfall).

Need a warm bath and a smiley - tea

Hope the week is being kind to you

Hmm; the best thing to do I reckon is got to "Ask the h2g2 community" thread; click here: A148907

and start a new posting titled "Looking for Chai recipes"!

I know someone called Chaiwallah who probably has thousands of different recipes, plus i have a friend Raj in Bangalore, no doubt he could come up with a few also!

smiley - cheers
