h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Please don't take this as any kind of a slight, but I am curious... Why do you say "America is back"? What has he actually done so far that has actually made a difference to the situation? (Erm... I'm assuming, of course, that you're refering to the new administration.) I'm not trying to be snide or anything, really! Yes, I live in a cave (so to speak), and I really would like to know if there has been something I should look up. I don't watch TV (don't even have reception, although our nice new(ish) HDTV Widescreen plays movies and games beautifully), and the only time I listen to the radio is in the car (which is rare) because it's the only place I can get my station (or any station other than the local one which I dislike). The news has been so depressing for the last 8 years that I don't even visit the news sites anymore... Not since 2000, actually, unless I've been notified of something odd happening.

I _am_ hoping he does us right. I helped him get in there (what other choice did we have?)
