According to the list at the bottom of my page, Researcher 235568 has me on his/her friends list. If, however, I go to their personal space, they have no such thing. ???

Other way round, surely?
At some point you've added researcher U235568 to your friends list. Said researcher has since elvised and deleted their PS?

No, TC is right. She has the "Show people who have me as their friend" setting on her personal space, and it is as she described.

Notice how this Researcher: U783975 (picked at random out of the who's online list) has taken the trouble to set up a personal space, so their friends list says "Billy Athletic hasn't added any friends to their list." But a Researcher who hasn't created a personal space doesn't say anything at all in the Friends list section. What would happen if such a person added you as a Friend, but didn't set up a personal space? Perhaps the effect would be as you've observed.

It's Bruce Willis!

At least "he" has been subscribed to your journal since your Bruce Willis post in September 2003. Or maybe it's the yikeser. Or maybe Bruce Willis *was* the yikeser.

That is just SOOO embarrassing - they're all my journals and nothing else.

Were you an ace back then? You wouldn't believe on how many people's friends list I am (I don't show the list any more). It is handy if I search an old journal, though.

No - I've never been an ACE. But Ottox's theory is beginning to grow on me. It certainly makes sense, in the light of his two links. Yay! Another tenuous claim to fame!

And what are you doing up at this time of the morning, B'EL?

Waiting for the coffee to be finished?
I've no idea, really. My sleeping pattern isn't too well at the moment.
