Guilt is a pointless emotion?

Life is like it tire iron? It's real hard, so it feels mighty good when you stop beating yourself over the head with it.

I'm not entirely sure I agree with you there...
There is something utterly self obsessive about guilt, such practises can be highly theraputic.

I love your analogy on life, but I think we are experiencing it in different realities, or perhaps our perceptions are just from differnt spheres...
Life isn't hard, it's the obsticle corse that is a bummer, but if you are really sneaky and have infinately cunning plans, you get so caught up in the tangents that you bypass all of the long drops....

I'm only 24, so maybe my perception is premature, i'll get back to you in a decade or so.

Well, that's just about how many years I have on you! I'm 33. Life is not really as hard as it seems sometimes, you're right. But the guilt thing, that's different. I believe that everything we do is for a reason, and I strive not to do anything I will regret; but it's sometimes hard to distinguish 'right' from 'wrong', is it not?

Anyway, I prefer to try and right any wrongs I do, rather than waste time feeling guilty. That's just my opinion, I may be wrong.(but I doubt it! )

Guilt: Hmmmm, not a sensory emmotion I've had much exposure to i'm afraid.
I know myself very very well (Hense I need not get guilty in order to be self obsessive)...

Besides pressure and anxiety are two forces i rely fully on the big bad world for and have never seen any reason to create my own...

Bogel, yes quite a party favorite...
It origionated as a fairly innocent spelling game (using a "bogel" box and little letter printed blocks)

But alas once in the clutches of inebriated student claspes it like most else fell prey to the depths of deprived sexual inuendo, and now involves alot of tequila, foreign tongue massage and things I could only dare to repeat in japanese....

Just out of interest have you read a book called "perfume" by a chap named Suskinds?

NO!! I do NOT play Boggle!!! I tried it a couple times, but was bored silly. I play Scrabble though. And Chess and Darts and Pool and Abalone and Volleyball and Horseshoe and Frisbee and Hacky Sack and Shuffleboard and Reversi and many other games too many to list. Boggle sucks.

oh, and never heard of the book. Ever read 'Atlas Shrugged' by Ayn Rand?

Bogel: In it's true form is an utter waste of time, but coupled by some tongue twisting licencious being, Brother Cuervo and an illiminated entry sigh, reading..(leaves all inabitions here)...
