For understanding last night. Text message isn't always the best way to get my point across - not enough characters!
It was a bit of sensitive time, what with the huge row I'd just had with J's dad, the funeral, and being bloody knackered from the weekend (you know what those Dutch meets are like!), so I hope that you really did understand why I said what I did. Not trying to cause p & m to anyone, just trying to move along day to day.

Sorry, that probably sounded unnecessarily harsh. It wasn't meant to be. 
I had forgotten that the funeral was soon. 
I hope it went as well as could be expected under the circumstances.

Yeah, it did sound a bit harsh. But I guess we're at that 'stage' where we not so considerate of each other's feelings anymore.
