Been busy busy busy. Also having the PC upstairs at home means that I simply don't use it as much as I used to. Hopefully when we move it will be downstairs so you may see me about more often.

Of course. Did you think I didn't?
I know I've been a little grumpy, but I hope things are getting better here. Knowing that we shall be moving soon is a big help.

I need to send a big-time *news* email to you and SLG soon. It's all very positive stuff. But I'd rather not discuss the details in public, ya know?
Any thoughts on what our new label should be? For the first clothing collection? Have you seen the thread about that?

Not that I didn't think you didn't but, being the outrageously insecure being I am, it does help to get a bit of confirmation now and then.

So whaddaya mean you're not coming for the meet in March? Break my heart or what??? Lots of cheap Ryanair flights from Stansted. Nice cheap and cheerful pension down the street - 40 euros a night.
If necessary we can have you bunking down here with MoG - might be a bit *cosy* but it's do-able.
Yeah I know, you've got to paint and move and all that stuff. But it's just a couple of days. A nice weekend away, over here with the orange blossom blossoming and all that. And me really wanting to see you and S again. And having *real* friends here while I'm meeting lots of other possible friends . . . well, blicky says he'll also be here.
Just thinking that a Seville meet without you and S won't feel quite as it should . . .

Hi! Sorry, I've been a bit busty recently setting up my e-bay empire. By this time next week I hope to have enough money to sponsor my own football team...
The timing is just all wrong, I'm afraid. We move at the beginning of March, and then will be doing stuff to the place for pretty much the next three months, I'm afraid - plasterers, sparks and plumbers are all needed before we can really start on the decorating and then there's carpets, flooring, a roof to be fixed and a ceiling to pull down and replace.
There are other reasons as well, but to post them would be unpolitic, to say the least.
We're sorry we can't make it either (my hernia would doubtless much rather bum round Seville than decorate), and we think of Seville often and I know we will back someday in the not to distant future, but just not for the mini-meet.
So how is life treating you otherwise? How are the boys? And Noggin? How is the business progressing?

azahar Posted Feb 4, 2006
Well, as long you come back not *too* far in the future . . .
Ooooo, tell me (by email) what the 'unpolitic' reasons are! You've got me all curious now.
Biz is moving along s-l-o-w-l-y. Our web-page will be here eventually: http://www.natural-clothing.com/
Production is way behind schedule but at least we've found a couple of good sewers. We were meant to 'open' Feb 1 (ha!) and even now March 1 is looking iffy. Ah, the joys of running your own biz.
The boys and Noggin are fine. Recent photo of them taken a couple of Sunday mornings ago . . .

And one of your favourite cat - possibly he's checking out your e-bay empire?

Anyhoo, must run now. Gotta buy thread and a few other things before the shops close at 2. Don't forget that email now!

Hi there you!
Just felt like saying hi.
Today's a public holiday but Noggin and I are busy working on biz stuff. Did you see our final logo?

I keep looking at it and can't believe it's actually happening.
eek!

Very nice. Sorry i ddin't get back to you with commwents on the choices but the move has really been taking all the energy at home recently.
Seems like things are full steam ahead for you both atm, and that is a very good thing. I'm really glad it's starting to come together.

'Settled' is a nominal term given the amount of work still to do, but we seem to be dealing with the shortcomings of the place very well.
We've just booked a plasterer to do the two walls that needed, well, plastering, and excepted a quote from a guy and his mate to strip out the bathroom and re-tile and fit a new suite.
In principle we are agreed that we'd like to have a short break somewhere, preferably in Seville at the end of what I like to think of as 'phase 1'. 'Phase 2' involves a lot more money and will mean extending the mortgage and in any event may not be happening for a loooong time due to factors outside our control.
So the answer is definitely maybe, I'm afraid.

Well, I do know about that cheap&cheerful pension just around the corner - 40 euros a night for two. It's actually quite charming. Lucky and Dai had a totally fab room there when they were here.
Meanwhile, a definite maybe sounds more optimistic than a definite no.
How does it feel being back in the old place but now knowing it's yours and SLG's?

Oh that feels fine and dandy. We've already done a lot to the pl;ace to make it ours - having one room - the living room that is *totally* unrecognizable from what it was a month ago makes a lot of difference.
We're keeping our fingers crossed - it will depend on airfares and the like, as work like we are having done ids not al that cheap.

Your input on *that thread* is like a breath of fresh air -
Meanwhile, El Vez is fabulous! Am so envious about him hanging out with Los Lobos in Barcelona . . . makes me feel (once again) that I *must* move to Barcelona.
Just gotta make sh*tloads of dinero first . . .
