Well I hate to be the one to have to tell you this, but you have to change your name again, now!smiley - winkeye
You asked to be made a Guardian Angel, and GOD has made you the Patron Saint of Painted Dolls.
It is up to you whether you have this title after your name, personal preference is what h2g2 is all about!
Looking at your homepage, I can see no-one has greeted you, unfortunately some do slip through the net, but we try very hard to catch everybody with at least one greeting!
Let me apologize on behalf of the whole of the h2g2 community!
I can see you have got your name typed in the correct place, to change this again simply click "preferences" on the left of your homepage. Alter your name, then "update".smiley - smiley
I suspect you chose to become a GA so that you'd have somewhere to hang out? No problem, and hey, don't forget to ask {specific people} for help, if you need it. If you asked me, and I couldn't help, I'd fix you up with someone who could....get the idea???smiley - bigeyes
I had never heard of Guide ML or HTML before I joined h2g2.
Until I saw some of the homepages, I had no idea...then *I* wanted to do what they do...so I set to & learned, cursing when I boobed, but the feeling when I got it right!!
Checkout my homepage, and see just how far I have come!
We do have a Guide ML clinic: http://www.h2g2.com/GuideML-CLinic if you want to learn from scratch.
The Angels also have a new user's guide; http://www.h2g2.com/A352667
Have fun trawling through the forums, and don't forget, if someone asks for your help, and you can't help, refer them to someone who can, ie, leave a message in Heaven.
Thanks!
See you around,
Archangel Galaxy Babe.

I gotta problem with "Patron Saint of Painted Dolls." I work in Santa Cruz. It's a tourist town. To me, a "Painted Doll" is one of those girls that hangs out down by the boardwalk, and is for rent. The sort of dolls I was referencing run about 8 to 28 inches tall, and take less than a yard of fabric to dress. Their bodies are fabric stuffed with something or other, or porcelain, or vinyl, or Fimo and the like. They are works of art of us lesser creators. The Painted Dolls down by the wharf are the cooperative (????) effort of The Big Creator and Max Factor. (The choice of brand name probably gives you a clue to my age. No, I am not 93 years old.)

But as seriously as it gets around here, there is a lot of magic to dolls. Certainly practitioners of voodoo know that, but so do practitioners of what I call Hoodoo. I have designed a hoodoo doll, which is basically, if dissonantly, a naked Amish doll. The idea is one dresses it according to the desire to be represented -- your "prayer," if that word works for you, and keep it in your environment as an embodiment of said prayer. Sort of like lighting a candle, only it is not consumed. Take a nap with it, fine; but don't consume it!

That's great!
I see your point about "painted dolls"; how about "Porcelain Dolls"? If that is OK with you, I'll have word with you-know-who...and sort it out.smiley - smiley

Ask and ye shall recieve. On all official Heavenly Documents, you are now known as the Patron Saint of Porcelain Dolls. I hope this is okay with you, but if you have an even better suggestion, don't hesitate to ask. smiley - smiley
