Meadowlark - Lyric Soprano, Keeper of Iris Flowers and Cabbage Patch Kids

Hello!
I sing lyric soprano! My latest works include Puccini's "O Mio Babbino Caro" and the Allelulia from Mozart's "Exultate Jubilate." Oh, and I love Gilbert and Sullivan if that counts for anything... smiley - smiley

I saw that someone else was interested in The Pirates of Penzance, which I love, and I would also have to cast a vote for the Mikado! I've always wanted to be a little maid from school ! smiley - smiley

Meadowlark - Lyric Soprano, Keeper of Iris Flowers and Cabbage Patch Kids

I sing lyric soprano (lyric coloratura on my good days! smiley - smiley) so I'd prefer to sing one of the higher parts, unless no alto could be found. Then, I could sing that. Funny, I sang the alto part in the church choir for years and was told that I would never be able to sing the higher parts. The choirmistress was shocked when she learned recently that I am have been singing the lyric soprano parts happily for quite some time now...smiley - smiley
