As its getting ever closer to christmas day and ever more unlikely Im going to talk to you, I thought I should leave your present here; 
And also just to say that I love you and Im sorry that Im never here for you like I should be and (jeez its awkward; 2 conversations, an h2g2 window and having to do a 2 second clear up when the door creaks when Hammy's walking in so it doesnt look like Im crying like this) and everything.

You're the best friend I could ever ask for, and you're wonderful in all respects. You mean the world to me and I love you and I'm the one who should be sorry for not being as good a friend as I should be, not you.
I wouldn't trade your friendship for the world.
