Yep tried the scart (we can actually get half the channels we should) and we also tried doing the technical stuff as they guided us on the phone but still no joy, they want £65 to send an engineer out now but they said wait a few days and it might come back on (very helpful lol)

you tried turning it all off at the mains is it Sky maybe the dish has moved or their is a leaf on it or something ?

I have had trouble getting in as it seems you're always under modThe swines will most likely me too.
I had a problem with SKY dish and rang them, they told me to switch off at the mains. Wait for 60 secs then switch back on again. It worked. They said because the box is like a computer and it had frozen. I had a problem last year and they took the box away and left me with a brand new replacement. I'm told the life span is about four of five years anyway, and I've had mine since 1995. When I moved in 2000, I rang, they came around on the day of my moving and left the old dish there and put a brand new one up at my new home. No extra charge. They most likely think that if they leave the dish there, the new people with have SKY. I must be honest I have never ever had any trouble with SKY. When it was installed they arrived on the day they said they would and they have always given me good service since. Not that I've had much trouble with it.

Hopefully only another week and a half left on pre but we shall see.

Hi yeah it is sky we have, we have an engineer coming out now coz we rang them back about it. We tried turning off at the mains and stuff . But I suppose it isn't too bad coz for £65 that covers everything the engineer does including a new digi box if needed. The thing is we had the box replaced 14 months ago coz a similar thing happened. But it's just past the 12 month guarentee so that's why we have to pay.

Anyway enough about sky lol Hope everyone is good?

Cool yes they did that deal for use we got a free digi box yes things are goooooooooooood 'Bruce Almighty voice' here
