I commented on your article in the Peer Review page - so I came to see your page too. I see you're new, and nobody's come to greet you (shock horror, something's wrong here) so I will (not just because I'm nice, it's my job too [hence the ACE in my name] smiley - winkeye).

Slightly depressing page there, what with the "my body will die sometime and then i'll be leaving" but i guess it's true, unless this Eternal Youth pill they've made actually works smiley - winkeye

Anyway, I'm Lisa, if you hadn't already guessed.

Well, I already feel like it's my home on the net, h2g2.
If you really think that the short article about myself seems to be depressing, I have to completely rephrase my sentences. I've got no problem with dying, hey, it'll be a big fun to see everyone for the last time someday. I just feel as if there must be some other level of existence, because the one as a human in such a world is a very imperfect one. So I just make the best of every second of my life, because I may die every single second, and I do not want to regret anything in my life.
I'm very content, and as I am satisfied, life seems to get better and better all the time, and that's a nice way of living. Hmm, maybe I should continue writing my book about all this smiley - smiley

H2g2 has been my home online for over a year now. smiley - smiley

I think you should change it a little, maybe add a bit more about yourself?

Nice philosophy, the Live Each Day As If It Were Your Last one. If only I did!! My philosophy is something like.. er.. I'm not sure actually.

So, you said you live in a non-english-speaking country?? Which one then ? smiley - smiley As it says on my page, I'm in England, and English, but I'm half-Philippinonono. I mean Philippino. Same thing smiley - biggrin I only speak English fluently though, but I learn French and German at school, and, as of next monday, Latin too, but that's not speaky is it.

Writing book? Ooh. smiley - smiley

I'm very sad, and do you know why? h2g2 exists for over a year, and noone told me about it. I found it only by incident...
Well, actually I do live in germany for my whole life (Bonn), but I don't feel like I'm german, maybe I'm more of a european citizen smiley - smiley
I've been learning english for ten years now, so it's my second language. I've learned some french, but I'm not a fluid speaker, and I 'm looking forward to learn some other languages like finnish or croatian or something else.
After finding this article about self-made-languages in h2g2 I'm even thinking about one of my own smiley - smiley
Well, i'm glad that school just finished this summer for me...

Cool. I went to Germany earlier this year - Altenau in the Harz, and we visited Goettingen so I'm doing an Entry on it.

Ten years! That could explain why I originally thought you were american smiley - winkeye

I heard about h2g2 just as it was being set up (April 28 99 I think it is) - it was mentioned on a TV show. But I didn't get an Internet connection until July. smiley - sadface

Anyway, you're very very lucky to get here at this time, because when I got here it was awful for new people because there were no help pages (or few) and it was very difficult to get around. But I'm soooo glad I stayed smiley - smiley

How did you find h2g2?

School finished for ya? Aww you poor thing (This is just my opinion, I think I'm the only person in the world who loves school!)

I'm going to practise my awful German on you now. smiley - smiley

Well, we start learning english in grade five... I like that, because I like languages so much.

My father gave me an article of a german newspaper about h2g2, and he only noticed it because he knew I'm a fan of Douglas Adams... smiley - smiley

Well, I've been the only one who liked school for a long time, but I don't regret that this time is over, because there a great things to see and to do now. smiley - smiley)
