h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I am not that new to h2g2 any more but... Since you said you are my ACE and I can always ask when I have troubles I decided to put my question here!

Me and Almaak, we wrote some time ago one entry to the Guide A4663767! I am so proud of it, isn't it cool? Though rather long... And I think it still needs fixing before we put it for the peer review...

Anyhow, what I wanted to ask was! We researched and wrote this article together with Almaak (803239) but if I try to add his name as a researcher in the entry it appears that he has researched it and I have edited it! But I haven't edited it.. Nobody has yet!
Any idea how to fix that?

So you're working on an entry for the Edited Guide? Great!

This is how it works:

The researcher who created the entry will always be named as the one who has edited it, as long as it's a 'regular' entry. Additional researchers will, as you noticed, be named as 'researched by'.

Once it gets chosen to be included in the Edited Guide, one of the <./>SubEditors</.> will create a new entry and insert the contents from the original 'regular' entry.

This second entry is the one that will then become the Edited Entry, and there you as well as Almaak will be mentioned as 'researched by' and the Sub Editor in question as 'edited by'.

I hope that clears things up a bit - just let me know if there's anything else you're wondering about.

Oh, don't you at me - it's the job of the Scouts to pick up entries suitable for the Edited Guide

One never knows! I thought it may be worth trying! But I'll try to find a Scout to at!
