How is it you can sign in to hootoo and then go to other bbc boards and take part in 'conversations' on a hootoo sign in name but cannot access hootoo from the boards?

I think it might be because the BBC Community sites are hosted on a platform named the Hub whereas the messageboards are not - don't take my word for it though, since I'm not even close to being a
