Gnomon - time to move on Started conversation Dec 14, 2010
I've been suffering from a flu for the last week, with high temperatures, lots of coughing and total lack of appetite. But I didn't have any opportunity to rest, as I had concerts to perform, paths to be cleared of ice and my daughter was coming in to my office for work experience (part of the Transition Year in school).
So I'm beginning to feel slightly better. My appetite came back yesterday and I was able to enjoy the glass of wine and mince pie after El's Chapel Choir carol service.

Glad you're on the mend
I remember my doctor told me once that one of the best ways he can tell between the common cold and a more serious infection is the patient's loss of appetite, and that he wouldn't normally prescribe antibiotics unless this was the case.

Good to hear you're improving, neither a cold nor a flu is any pleasure

I had no idea you were ill - such stoicism in the face of ice and snow and music etc!
glad you're getting over it.
