Just back from seeing classic prog rock band "Yes" in concert. Chris Squire, the bass player was in fine form, but the years have not been kind to Steve Howe, the guitarist. He looks about 80, although he is only 62. He's still one of the best guitarists in the world though.
Great stuff!

How wonderful - I would have loved to have seen them too. Sometimes it really makes you feel old, when you see how much those fabled rock stars have aged. I prefer to listen to them with my eyes shut, if they have got really wrinkled. The illusion of the past is not destroyed so badly.

I'm really jealous - I've never had the opportunity to see Yes in concert.
I confess that I far prefer their earlier stuff: Time and a Word through to, say, Relayer.
I think it was Steve Howe who always used to book 2 first-class tickets on Concorde when he crossed the Atlantic: one for him and one for his guitar.
