Wait...Now I've change *my* mind. The equinox is the *middle* of spring, assuming that each season is 3 months long.

Gnomon - thanks to you I've found a really nice page about Les Barker with some samples: http://www.picklehead.com/mini/les.html - the one at the end (a serious one), Soldier, is particularly good. 
Thanks for bringing back great memories - interestingly not all are by the lad himself, although thankfully some are.

Morning, everyone. We thought we'd had all the snow this winter (seems like it's been white 
outside the window since November) but yesterday we were taken unawares by a vicious blizzard.
Actually not unawares, the weather people had forecast it - but who ever believes what they have to say?
