Unlike the rest of the educated middle classes of Dublin, I have never been a theatre enthusiast. I have been dragged along to a couple of plays in my life, and enjoyed them, but I have never felt the urge to repeat the experience. So it is unlikely that I will go to see "Da". I'll mention it to my wife, who is more interested in theatre than I am, and if she goes, I'll go too. So there you have it - I'm a cultural philistine!
Are you going to London on Saturday next for the meet?

Nope - I'm afraid I shall (probably) be in Sligo.
