Have a look at the new edited guide statistics page at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A640333
They've excluded all the entries with more than one author, and counted up the rest. You're closer to the top of the table than you might have thought!
I intend to see my name working its way steadily up the table....

Thanks for pointing that out.
It's nice to see that I'm 8th on the list for single-author entries. But I don't do it to get in the lists. I do it because I enjoy it and because I feel the stuff I write about should be recorded somewhere on the web in an easy-to-read format.
