I just noticed that your Beethoven entry has come up 'pending' on my page as well. I think it's a bit annoying if a few remarks on a thread make me count as a co-author! Is it worth complaining about, or are you blasé enough about your entries at this stage not to care?

There was a long discussion about joint ownership. I can't remember exactly where it was. I wrote an article about sandcastles and got a couple of suggestions from three people. I acknowledged this. The article was published with the four of us as joint authors. In alphabetical order with me third. I was cross about this.
When I mentioned this in the discussion, people said that I should continue to acknowledge other people's help in writing my entries, because I had done so many myself and it would encourage other people in their efforts.
I vowed that in future, anybody who provided even a paragraph for one of my articles would get credited with joint authorship. You're the first.

Then thank you, kind sir!
Actually I don't know if it would make me feel encouraged - I spent quite a long time on my opera entry (did you notice it today? ) and I spent absolutely ages on my French Opera one, but there I go with equal billing for an off-the-top-of-my-head little spiel about Fidelio. Not fair, really, is it?
I suppose the ideal would be a 'with some help from' category to acknowledge that kind of thing, not a full-blown co-authorship.
I didn't think you would mind, actually!

Well one of first official edited guide entries was "How to Get Pregnant and How Not to" due to a few chance remarks I made in a discussion!
Key: Complain about this post
