Not from the Dark Crystal! It was a really good movie but I got my name from Red Dwarf. Sorry!
Red Dwarf has "Genetically Engineered Life Forms (GELFs)". I wanted to be a *small* GELF, hence a gelfling........little gelf....eh, I thought it was clever. I never knew that teh characters in Dark Crystal were gelflings until after I chose the name... *sigh*
