Crusade
Posted Apr 25, 2005
Last night was the first (of hopefully more to come) of an Electro, synth, new romantic and other bleepy music themed night. It's name was Crusade, much like a similar night named Inquisiton in Gretsky's Bar, Cardiff (just above the Ice Rink.)
Needless to say it was a FANTASTIC night, my first proper night out in a while, too! The music was great, the DJ's were fab and everyone had a good time!
Crusade is basically Inquisiton without the Trad-Goth & 80's music. (Although a BRILLIANT bleepy version of Dead or Alive's 'You Spin Me 'Round' was played to which I danced *manically* to, before falling and carpet burning my knee which really hurts now... )
Glowsticks were a-spinning, people were a-dancing and camera's were continuously flashing! Can't wait for the photo's! The first of my two camera's ran out of film within the first 10 minutes of me being there!
I was so hyper (before alcohol!) and felt the need to take pictures of EVERYONE! as I hadn't seen them for *ages*
Ended up inviting everyone to the house party I was apparently going to be throwing when me and my boyfriend get a place! (Luckily he's okay with the idea, as he'd previously said that he didn't like house parties. Turns out he does, just as long as it's only people he acutally knows that come 'round!)
We're hoping to move out failry soon, assuming (and hoping) that my best friend and her boyfriend want to move in with us.
Once I know for sure exactly what kind of music is played at both nights, I think I'll write about it in one of the things we can do on this site!
Thattabe it for now!
