My sense of taste is still messed up...but I can do sweetish stuff.

I'm defo going to make blackberry and apple pie next autumn though with full on vanilla ice cream.

I want to get well...as I can.

Do you make your own ice-cream? Being married to a fully equipped () who is very much into deserts and patisserie generally means that we've had some fab home-made ice-cream in the past. Some from our Ben & Jerry's recipe book, some he made up. Lavender ice cream is brilliant. As is Guinness (or Gin & Tonic) sorbet.



for getting well, i guess it's a cliché because it's true: one day at a time, baby steps, don't give up and all that. But making the journey to well, that's a challenge. You seem a very detemined person though, I wouldn't bet against you.

I've never been this unwell for so long though. It's the not talking....And it's BAD...but we are dealing with that on the other thread.

No I'll buy the top of the range vanilla ice cream....but do the rest by hand.

Next door have Bramley apple trees...and I have plenty of brambles scrambling through from next door for blackberries.
