Where have the ants gone?
Effers;England. Posted Nov 20, 2010
What do you mean, 'just like that'? It's taken them about 2 years to finally leave their nest..but yes it is a bit of a shock now there's no more of that hectic business of getting airborn on my space..all a bit
it's a bit quiet
Nice to see you. I also really like your upside down avatar. It is weird to suddenly have an identity that is visual as opposed to a name and tag. But really we can change them as much we do our names if we want..or not. I don't think jwf has ever changed his name though..so for him..it's more tricky to not feel pinned down by an image. Because yes, the 'image' works on the emotions in a different way..hence all the fuss about iconoclasm in various religions, and at various times.
I'm a big fan of both..in two minds

Oooh, imagine future Spartacus campaigns with avatars. Or Halloween anagrams
(RF's already done the muffin one)

Just like that, all of a sudden without a warning
The upside down avatar was because I had two pictures turned down for unfathomable reasons. This upside down picture was originally meant as a cheeky suggestion, but finally I liked it and it stuck
And yes, for some reason images may stick more than the nicknames, even if we do change them as often and creatively. We'll see! I look forward to see what everyone will come up with (if anything). I really miss the long nicknames, they were like a parallel conversation going on in the space around the threads.
And your switches are cool, too
