Thought I would secrete this in another thread. Your veggie curry sounds great..though all bought at Sainsbury when you live in London..shame on you. Sounds like you are a good cook and the wealth of superb places for fresh meat/veg/fish etc in London moust be great.
I've only just had a furtle through your journal thingy. Lovely photos around London - a place I have grown to like over the years especially Gaby's Deli's Salt Beef Sandwiches next to Wyndhams Theatre.
Also, didn't know about your banning last year but it was mentioned somewhere that you were Fanny, who I seem to remember was a bit of a pain in the @rse! but now you aren't...though you do have extenuating circumstances unlike some of the people on this site! and you do speak more sense than most on this site as well these days. And during my hiatus it was your PS I used to go to. Though I do think you're a pain in the @rse getting me back...I thought I had finally gone cold turkey on the site!
Aw shucks!

Yes I was banned last year when I wasn't so well...a bit high and out of control. It's very difficult being me because it feels like I have all these different people inside me which I attempt to integrate into one person; mostly I can do this to a degree but when intense moods grab a hold of me I can act a bit stupid And it doesn't help being such a brainy person as I am..with all these moody so and so's inside me jostling around.
I can't tell you how difficult it is integrating all the complexities of my perception in this modern world. kea once suggested something along the lines of it maybe being easier for someone like me in a different cultural set-up. I dunno.
But what I most like is to be around people who are good hearted, direct and honest...whatever their background.
Sorry to ramble on like this, but its nice to talk to you...and tough ies that I dragged you back.
PS The veg curry was delish. I always taste as I'm making it and add bits like a bit of honey, a squeeze of lime, a bit more salt etc. The basic spices I usually use for a veg curry are coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, tumeric sometimes fennel seeds... as well as chilli peppers and garlic. And yes I do also sometimes shop at local greengrocers etc, I have some excellent shops near me. Do you have a basic veg curry recipe? I've found chick peas, onions, tomatoes and spinach are my favourite combination.

I haven't got a particular veggie curry - I like me meat.
I will make veggie side dishes like chickpeas, lentils, or okra usually in tomatoes, onions, garlic, cumin, coriander, garam massala etc. As I believe cauliflower is the food of Satan I don't do curried cauliflower.
Re: being a smart@rse and bipolar: is it more common for clever people to be bipolar or have mental problems? THe wired thing is most clver people have got slightly different minds to normal people which is probably why they are so clever. The mind has to be set up to work in a strange way or faster than other peoples but it means that the social 'side' of the person/brain isn't as 'developed'.
Aw shucks!

Yeah I don't know whether being bipolar means you are neccessarily more clever. Speaking personally, and from the few I've met, bipolar can mean that you can come at things from funny angles, and that can be refreshing. Also it can help with thinking creatively because of all the mood swings. But there's some bipolars I feel I've nothing in common with. Maybe it just affects what personality you happen to have anyway?
My present mood stabiliser is Lamotrigine is a relief, after years on carbamezapine, because it doesn't dull my brain like carb did.
I'm thoroughly fed up with TGD thread again, and will try to take a break from it...

Hi Effers,
Don't go off in a huff from the RTD thread!!!
Reason I haven't read all the stuff an locked into the non-god irrationality stuff is that my gran passed away this morning so not been reading deeply too much. Not a shock and we were hoping she would go a bit quicker having not nice terminal cancer so a bit of relief that she's not suffering anymore, poor thing.
So, get back there girl!!!! Don't let my one out-of-context for discussion make you .
Aw shucks!

Hey 3Dots when I read your post it brought tears to my eyes. I know.. but I can't help it, because I'm very fond of you, and feel for you. And it's hopeless trying to express these things via text on a silly web site - especially when you don't even really know someone. It's good she's no longer suffering
Yes I got into one of my regular strops.
I'll come back yes...but really that thread regularly drives me to distraction, so I'll take a short break.
Aw shucks!

Thanks Effers...you really wouldn't want to know what I think about people who are stopping the euthanasia laws go through at the moment especially after British conductor Sir Edward Downes and his wife, went to Dignitas and ended their lifes with dignity and it being in their own hands.
And some woman from 'Dying with Dignity' says assisted suicide is a slippery slope...I know now the face of, and the definition of, 'pure evil'...and it starts with people believing they can control the destiny and free-will of others by forcing their personal beliefs onto others through law...especially when they know people will die in pain, without a shred of dignity left and with no control over their own destiny...anyway...don;t want to make you cry!!!!
You should be giving me a hug...
Aw shucks!

Take care of yourself at present...and don't get too involved in discussions on that TGD thread. Or maybe tell people there? Gif told us all about his baby being born...you should feel just as able to tell people about your news.
A big big
Aw shucks!

Don't worry. I'm OK. I've known for a month that she was not long for this world and hence have been able to cope with it. So, no need to change any open forum discussions for me...nor would I want it to happen.
I rarely go on the TGD thread anyway I just felt it was very intresting about Edwards.

Fair enough. I won't fuss anymore.( But I can't help being a caring female sometimes...)
Another though.
Nighty night.
