You're right it wasn't an attack on me personally. I probably took it to heart too much, because of what I've felt the last few days, and speaking to other people in real life about all this stuff, that is so far in no way reflected by debate on h2g2.
I can understand that you may have wanted to post a 'funny'; we all do. But I just lose patience sometimes, when all the discussion/argument of a thread is ignored in favour of a tongueincheek remark, that I'm really not quite clear about what is really being intended, and the actual serious debate is completely ignored.
As I'm doing more and more often though on this site, I'll probably leave that convo, as it goes down the usual path, and points I make are just completely ignored, in favour of samo samo, from my POV.
