OK, so I know that typing < hug > in the subject box won't make a smiley - hug, but it's the thought that counts, right?

I've read what you wrote Amy+ in 'Hej Amy', and I had already read 'Okay??' I don't know what to say, except to agree with what has already been said. It's not something I exactly *want* to hear, either, but I'm glad I know how you feel...Maybe knowing will help me help...

I'll write more tomorrow, but I've got to go now, since I have to get up obscenely early on weekdays, and I must do some things before I go to bed. Please remember that you *do* have friends, Ottox..We may be many miles away, but that doesn't keep us from caring...

Goodnight, my friend...smiley - hug

Well, I don't know if you'll be on between now and the time I'll be heading over to the Convention Center for lunch, or if I'll be spending the afternoon at the Conference (probably not, but...).

Anyway, I just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you, and hoping you feel better today.

(Sorry it took me so long to respond, but my ISP kept insisting that my username and password were invalid, so I couldn't get online at home smiley - cross, and there's been tours through here today, so I had to keep h2g2 hidden...)

smiley - hug

How're you doing today, Ottox? Better? Did you ever think that sleep deprivation could be causing problems?

I'm a night owl, too, by choice...Unfortunatly, I *have* to get up early...(Midnight used to be a ridiculously early time to go to bed, but now if I make it that late on the weekends, it's amazing...Weekdays, I have to go to bed at 10...)

So you do get all the hours you need? Then I withdraw the question...

Stay fine for a while, OK? I think my worrier is getting worn out, what with Amy the Ant's health, and you, and all...At least I don't have to worry about 2Legs anymore, since his protracted absence after he said he'd be back shortly turned out to be because of technical difficulties, not because anything had happened...

Anyway, is it presumptious on my part to think that what I said in the first post on this thread (you know, about how, although we're far away, we care) helped, if even just a little? I hope it did, because it's true...

Indeed it did! Why should I be here if it wasn't for my friends? smiley - smiley

No, too often I don't get enough sleep, but... smiley - erm
Anyway... I'll have to go to bed not too late to night. I have to practise with my choir quite early tomorrow. And then I'll visit my sister and sleep there, so don't worry if I'm not online the next days! smiley - smiley

OK, I won't worry...(And thanks for telling me, or else I would of, because of what you told Amy+ the other night...)(But you probably figured that out, huhsmiley - winkeye?)

Have a good time!

Ottox

Thanks.

There's a big difference between wanting a thing and doing something about it. Especially for me, that's probably the main reason that I'm depressed! I wont hurt myself! (Well, not physical... smiley - winkeye)

I'm glad you won't hurt yourself! *relieved* The main reason I would be extremely worried if you were gone for a couple of days without warning, is because of something I've heard that makes so much sense that it's frightening...

I've heard that, when you know someone who is suicidal, or even just extremely depressed, that you should watch even more closely if they seem to cheer up too quickly. Why? Often, the indecision of whether to go through with suicide can cause even more depression. When a decision is reached, the person is at peace...

I know you've said you're not suicidal, but what you told Amy+ is damn worrying... (And I don't swear often)

No, cheering up is good, it's just that *too* quickly can be suspicious...

Shall I hold you to that?
