Hey Ottox, couple of quick questions - Did you link direct to the guestbook page on my site? ie: Did you bypass the left-hand Nav frame? Because my counter didn't register you...and it's all of a sudden out by 3 1/2 hours...and I didn't get sent an email notifying me of your message...and MSN messenger won't sign me in...and all sorts of weird things are happening, and it's...well, weird, generally...

Erm... I might have gone direct to your guestbook(*), but I don't think I've posted there without visiting the counter.
You know... MSN messenger will *never* let me sign in!!!
(*) I would like to avoid your java-applets. I mean... I would love to see that fractal thing, but it will probably crash my computer...

Yeah, I've noticed that you weren't exactly state-of-the-art... It's a shame, that really... Not that I'm suggesting you should upgrade your computer just so you can see the JAVA on my page, not even *I'm* that egotistical... The only way you could *possibly* avoid the counter is by bookmarking the guestbook frame and only opening that...which leads me to think that something funny's going on...but I've tested it, it counted me when I went there (after asking it to ), my email's working fine (I sent one from hotmail to home and home to hotmail, both worked fine)...everything seems fine, yet things just don't feel right...damn computers...
And Messenger hasn't let me sign in for about 3 days now... AND I've actually got an account...

Hmmm... Mark Moxon suggested the same thing two days ago...
I confess: I have bookmarked it. And the 'updates' page! Not that I don't want you to see me (well, OF COURSE it is ), but just...
But even if I'm not seen by the counter when I go there, then if I post I'm redirected to the frames. It *should* see me then!
I can't use the *two* counters on U150740 anymore... They haven't counted anything for the last few months, and it was because of a link to them (broken) that my page was moderated today!

Ah, but if you've got the updates page bookmarked, then just about the only thing I ever update at the moment has a counter on it too... Course, you may just be waiting for my life story to replace Mandelbrot... And normally it does see you, but it didn't this time...as I said, if it was just that, I'd just think it was an anomaly...but along with everything else...and my connection's been like treacle today...well, it's been like a 56K modem, which when it can theoretically be almost 30 times faster, is treacle...and not just on h2g2, where the speed is very much governed by the other end anyway, whatever MM may have said... I read about the moderation elsewhere *lurk * It's very annoying when counters don't do their job...especially because, it's the person(s) who don't post messages to my guestbook that I most want to know about...
