Well hello there! I'm doin great. Haven't been on H2 much lately cause I just don't have time anymore, damn college. Between designing this and that, studying for the next exam and just generally being overstretched there's no time to be me, this next semister is going to be different though. I've got a schedual to die for so I hope to be around more often. How you been? Vanquish any foes reciently?

No foes vanquished recently, unfortunately. Maybe that's what I need to do to pull myself up.
College sounds as if its going well, if very busy. I need to be thinking about going back again, myself. Its been so crazy lately that I haven't had a chance to do so yet. I've moved to Austin, TX and am just now settling in. Hence why I have just gotten back to HooToo myself.
So, what have you been designing?

Well lets see, at school I'm involved with a project called the mini-baja racer, and I'm working on the gear box crew on that one. In my spare time I'm designing and building a crane type thing for my Dad so that we can effortlessly haul an engine and transmission up to the second floor of the garage. It's going to bolt onto the ceiling, lift the load up then retract inside. Most interesting problem considering the weight involved. After thats done I get to do something really fun!!! I'm going to design and build a car (or try to). I've got a bunch of old parts laying around (jaguar and buick) and we're going to use them to create something like a race car that I'll probably come close to killing myself in! Lots of fun!!!
What prompted teh move to the Lone star state?

Ooooooooh! Sounds like fun to me all the way around. You'll have to let me know how everything comes out - especially the car you're building from scratch. Who knows, I may ask you to build me a car when/if I become rich and famous.
I moved down here initially because I was transfered here through work. Since then, I've found a much better job and am very happy over all. I made the mistake of locating the nearest public library, though - right next door! This could seriously put a damper on my attempts to get a life.

Its gonna be awesome! I'm trying to make it mid engine and really try some wild things, like lamborgini style doors, FIA World Rally Championship style lights on the front and a two seat interior. I truely think the body styling with be the most difficult of this entire project-I just don't have the tools or experience with that type of stuff yet. Well that and the suspension. I'll send you pictures of the designs and stuff later on in the year! Hey if I make it big I'll build you a car just for fun!
A life, who needs one of those! I used to work at the library. Let me tell you that's a dangerous job, every night I'd come home with a new book or two I'd picked out while reshelving books!

I worked at a library during high school and had similar problems. I even had to eventually quit, as the books I was checking out were infinitely more interesting than my school books.
The car sounds absolutely grand! And from the specials I've seen on exterior design, I wouldn't think that you'll have much trouble with it. It mostly seems to be coming up with something visually pleasing, tehn altering what needs to be altered to fit the actual mechanics of the car. (Darn that TLC! )
A life is something I *think* that I want to give a try at. I'm not entirely sure, but people tell me that they can be nice things to have. Especially since I don't have the 'net hooked up at home yet.

Yeah I know what you mean, TLC is going to be the downfall of me. Expecially monster garage and junkyard wars. And now with this new series called Rides- man, theres not enough time to watch all this TV! I guess thats why I don't have a TV at college, I'd never have time to do it all.

I can't wait to get a chance to see Rides! I've been a fan of Junkyard Wars since it was Scrapheap Challenge. And Monster Garage has quickly become a favorite as well. They just need to adopt Robot Wars from the UK/PBS and I will never need another channel again!
