Hi V, I'm subbing your entry, and I've just read in the PR thread that you insist on the third person singular for the openeing lines. In my opinion, this makes the entry unnecessarily clumsy, so I'd rather change it to 2. sg.
I'd suggest a change to:

using the 2nd sing. is fine by me. I think I do resort to it at the end of the article. So it's best to be consistent.
