So just how many name changes?

And what a beautiful one it is here in Devon today. Took the dog for a walk over our fields at 6.30, and it was glorious. A herd of Red Deer came out of the woods in an adjoining field, with a magnificent stag at the head. Nature at it best.

The name change is because last night, I came to the conclusion (again) that I was neglecting RL and important relationships, and spending too much time on MB’s. I have been talking to people on here, instead of those who are around me, and matter at the end of the day.

I have a big house move coming up, lots of building work, DIY to sort out, and of course 2 weeks away in Italy soon. Bad timing really, but such is life. Have a tremendous amount to be grateful for compared to many people, (I can only imagine what you have seen over the years in your work) so not in anyway complaining with my given lot in life.

I am normally quite sane and organised in my life. What did you say once “a natural leader”. Well I seem to be the one being led now, by my addiction to these boards, and I want to get control back in my life. Does that sound mad?

I have never been at a better time in my life so far, I love the age I’m at, the way I look etc, have reached my prime perhaps,…….. but it’s being wasted, through sitting in front of this bloody computer.

Anyway,....... I thought rather then get embroiled in yet another site,........ which would tie me up even more, I would knock this one on the head now, before I became too comfortable with it. Unfortunately, when I looked here last night, once signed up, you cannot delete yourself from membership, which seems a bit strange.

What they did suggest though, was a name change and deleting any information you had put up, hence that is what I did.

I wasn’t trying to give you the slip, just didn’t want other people to start communicating here with me, and then find I didn’t respond to them. Bad manners and all that.

I will still post at C19 from time to time, and have to be on there tonight, as a ‘sting’ is planned on someone and I promised to help, (it’s not you, so don’t worry) but I am going to back off quite a bit, along with ML.

How often have I said this before?............... Lots of times.

Can I do it?.................. I don't know.

This time I am determined to give it a real go, even though I know it will be hard at first.

Hopefully catch up another time, and apologies for this long winded moan LP, one of many you have had to endure from me. I promise not to again.

PS, Hope your workday is less stressful then yesterday. Wishful thinking in your job, I‘m sure.

That all makes sense to me, I'm lucky in as much as my job at the mo, requires a lot of PC time - it won't stay like that, but will still always involve a fair bit, such is the way of the world. So keeping another window open and occasionally posting is quite therapeutic and actually aids concentration, by making me take breaks.

If I was not PC based I'd never have the time, also I don't think I know half the people you do!

But I can totally see the need to get the balance right, I certainly won't and have not to date let it interfere, though I can see how it can, very addictive and a "real" community develops too!

Good luck with your move, have fun on your hols and see you about! Just work on that RL -v- VL balance.
