In that case you need to buy the ingredient first.

BTW it really doesn't taste good, but that's beside the point.

No, I mean it really doesn't taste remotely good. It's extremely bitter.

I mean far more bitter than that. Have you ever tasted cocoa powder (unsweetened) on it's own straight from the tin? It's more bitter than that. More bitter than grapefruit, and not as an aftertaste. Bitterness is the first thing to hit your tongue from it.

Gave a little cocoa powder to one of the grandkids last weekend.
I was looking for the Hot chocolate and he kept insisting that that was it. smiley - biggrin Gave him a little on the tip of a spoon.

"How's that taste?"

Update: I've just poured out the first shot of this batch.

Pale greeny yellow, quite a spicy smell. Still unpalatably bitter on it's own, but far less so than the first attempt.

As for the effects, there's a double shot in this glass of pepsi & ice, all might be revealed by the morning.

On a more serious note, this batch has as much of a muscle relaxant effect as the first attempt.

It smells more spicy, and is noticeably less bitter, although still unpalatably bitter if tried neat.

I think it needs to have some more wormwood tincture added to get the head effects of the first batch, so I'm going to infuse some and then blend the two batches directly in the glass.

I'm also familiar with witch bottles - very useful things they can be too. The components are easy to get hold of, and such things don't need a great deal of skill to put together and activate.

Not that I'd rely on one on its own for protection, there's a great deal to be said for good locks and a bit of common sense. smiley - teasmiley - ok
