So for quite awhile now, your personal space has said:
"I am proud to say that I have neither formal nor informal status here. I am not an Ace a Scout or a Sub. I am not an Archangel or a Muse or a Keeper."
Do you think this still holds true with the goings on of the Underguide? I'm not sure whether I'd consider that formal or informal status, but I'd definitely consider it to involve status and titles and names and belongings of some sort or another......

Well that was one of the reasons why I did not stand for the post of UnderGuide Editor. The other was that I would be completely cr@p at the job.
I take your point. But the Miners really do work in the shadows - the UnderGuide is semi-official (whatever that means - I certainly don't know) - and to be honest, I am used to having those particular pictures and cannot be bothered to change the text. I'd miss the pun, for a start.
When the UnderGuide finally hits either the Announcements Page or the Front Page I will have no option to change it, I guess.
Do you want to take an amble through the entries in the AWW? Most of them are worth reading, though Anna has been a bit diliatory about moving the duds as requested.
Thanks for dropping by
Ben

If it makes you feel any better, we have some problems getting entries moved out of PR as well, even though there's supposedly a system in place for it -- I just have to resend the emails I time or two every now and then, when I realize a week (or month!) later that the entries are still there.
I do browse through the AWW occasionally, although I generally avoid commenting. While for the type of entries we see in PR, my standards are higher for depth of content, for the type of entries you have in the AWW, my standards are higher for style and clarity of writing. And my past experiences have been that people who choose to submit to the AWW respond even less enthusiastically to comments about style and clarity than people in PR do about depth of conent.
There are entries in the AWW I consider quite excellent, however.
I once thought about submitting my Sea Monkey Diaries entry, but I decided I would probably need to do it under a cloaked disguise.
