"- this particular use of the viewer tag is designed test where you sit on a scale which has 'susceptible to flattery' on one end, and 'paranoid' on the other. You know where you are on that scale."
All over it: highly susceptible to flattery and deeply paranoid!

I am so sorry that I didn't reply earlier. I mean't to, but good intentions, paving stones on the road to hell, and all that.
Thanks for dropping by my U-Space, and thanks for stopping to say something.

Well, the lights have been on, but no-one's been home, for a bit. But I had been busy on site since then, and I don't like ignoring people who drop by and say 'Hi'.
Did you check out the Short Guide to Short Words, btw? It is so scurrilous that I cannot post the geocities link here - the post would be failed. There is a special 'note to the moderators' in the BBC's fields for my User Page which allows the link. You may enjoy it. And as I said, there are various conversations which are a couple of clicks away from my U-Page which I found wipe-away-tears funny the last time I read them. Oh, and informative.

I did, but I'm afraid my browser does strange and censorious things to the geocities version, so I had to make do with the Guide entry and a bit of adroit vowel substitution. Oddly, the humble apostrophe appears to be making a comeback as an asterisk substitute, as in this example from "They think it's all over": Kenny Dalglish was known as "King Kenny" as in "Where's 'king Kenny?" "He's 'king b*ggered off again!"
I'll have a look round: the great thing about this place is that various are scattered everywhere.
Key: Complain about this post
