Heard of you from lurking (Mr.Manda put me onto the Aussie page )and decided to look you up .The quote came to mind and seems appropriate .

Truth and beauty, eh? Two of the slipperiest concepts we have, and imho truth is the slipperier of the two. Have you come across the phrase that the opposite of a small truth is a small lie, but the opposite of a big truth is another big truth?
How did you find h2g2? This is always something which I am curious about. H2G2 is a wierd and wonderful place, and a great place to hang out, but it isn't widely advertised, so it is always good to know how folks find us.

Hi ,I afraid I know precisely .The site had been sitting on my favourites list for some months, though I had not accessed it .I may have been looking up the HHGTTG or something and got this,thought it interesting and added it to favs,hmmm not sure .I did go through a phase of doing that as a way of finding my way around the web when I first went on line ,which was only 6 months ago .So I had ,and still do have , a backlog of sites that I have not visited.
A rogue memory of having got it off a posting on ze frank.com links page is floating around my excuse for a brain.
Yes it is a large and populous site ,which I think will take me some time to fully explore .I only come on line sporadically and feel a little overwhelmed,thoughthat's probably a matter of familiarity.

Well, I've been here a couple of years, and I still haven't explored all of hootoo, and to be honest there is an awful lot of it, and a lot of it is dullllllll. Drop by anytime and ask me questions though. I will be away for a week or so in a couple of weeks time, mind.
There are a lot of fine folks here, and some of them are on my friends list, but that is more of a collection of odd-balls than anything else.
New to the 'net too? How exciting!
