I have a dog and cat and they don't like each other. Well the dog doesn't mind the cat, but I think the cat finds the dog a terrible bore. Esp when the dog starts to bear down on the cat at great speed 'cos he's excited bless 'im. Bless 'em both. Here's to your cats. And you of course.

Hellooo to you too Yamshark. Are you a Mustardland refugee? I am... I know nowt about Hitchhikers (am ducking NOW).

The cats get on OK most of the time, they'll tolerate each other, but have a lot of fisticuffs. They're currently sleeping next to each other but not cuddling or anything. The little one likes to play and the medium one doesn't. Bit like your dog & cat really.

I'm doing my PhD in archaeology. Alledgedly.

Have you come across anything vastly/mildly interesting in your studies? Luv to hear about 'em. And do you have mantelpieces full of stuff?

I do want to ask: is what I see on Time Team what archaeology is ie. muck, rain, more muck, a bit of sunshine, wellies, trowels and bits of pottery that look like...er...bits of pottery. I'm not taking the michael by the way. I do find it interesting.
