Myst III

*Researcher merely stares wild-eyed at the computer screen in a state of euphoria, occationally clicking the "Play" button on her Quicktime window, watching the trailer over, and over, and over again... giggles uncontrollably*

Don't Ever Do This...
Posted Apr 4, 2001
Never, never, ever lie on your hotmail account and say that you're underage to prevent porn from getting to your mailbox. First of all, it doesn't work. Hotmail isn't the one sending you the porn, and hotmail won't set up a filter to stop it, even if it thinks you're twelve. Secondly, it does all kinds of, *ahem*, FUN things to you once you enter the underage birthdate, e.g. "Is you're Mommy or Daddy with you at the computer right now? Can we have their Credit Card number???"

I'll show THEM...

Ha! I wrote my own entry! A nice, little comprehensive bit, exploring fan reaction and anything else I thought relevant at the time. (I got a bit tired at the end though, and just referenced the Myst entry to take care of what came after Riven...) Ah, much better.

Think, People!

For the last two days, I've been waging a loosing battle against the writer of the original 'Riven' entry. He made a blatant mistake, and then took off for what I can see will be something of a permanent lunch break. As you can see, I wrote a very comprehensive entry for 'Myst' and am a bit tiffed by being beaten to the 'Riven' punch by a few months. Five little lines of type, that would only be understood by someone who either played the game, or someone who read the cheatbook from cover to cover... What good is that?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
