There was a programme about Sylvia Plath on BBC4 last night. In the middle there is a section in which the presenter chats about the poet to some delightful English Lit undergrads from a Cambridge college - guess which one?
Last summer, I was showing some American visitors round the college and pointed out the house where Plath lived when she was a student in Cambridge. They didn't know who she was, which was a bit embarrassing.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
