Thanks Polly. No I haven't done it yet. There is a problem with the bank at the moment. In October last year, they initiated a new scheme called FICA to protect the public against gangsters using banks to launder money etc. You have to provide the banks with proof of your residential address. This takes the form of municipality bills, telephone bills, etc. Well I haven't got any of these yet, because I've only just arrived in the country, and I have had to generate a letter from my body corporate with my address on it, to give the bank. Until that happens, I won't go to the bank and transact any business. The letter may get to me today or tomorrow.

The car has a fault - it is a struggle to get it into 5th gear when it has warmed up. I took it back to the dealer in terms of the guarantee but he said there was nothing wrong with it. Bloody used car salesmen.
