I think when I put them off last time, they seem to have taken it as a sign of lack of interest, whereas in fact I was only putting them off because I had other things on my mind at the time.

My acer machine, I had a fresh install of Mint Qiana on, but I hadn't updated since the upgrade, which I had forgotten about, so when I came to a website that used Flash, it didn't work. So I'm updating the machine, which is taking a while to download all the packages, but it's OK because Sister Thelma is on, and she's such a refreshing heart.

OK, I've got the Lenovo but it's connected wirelessly to the extender, so not the fastest. 3megs in fact. Not so good.

There! My 64 bit Acer system is up to date. I've made it all mauve, which is nice. The PC in the Study is all red and purple, the Ultrabook is kind of purple, and this machine is mauve. I've been standing under the unwelcome attentions of Mr Borgboy all day, because God blessed me this morning, and now he wants to pull away, but he can't, the Spirit won't let him. Perhaps he is, like Doeg, detained before the Lord, who knows. Anyway, my life is not my own, he uses it for his own holy purposes, which is my privilege. Got a nice email from Sean this afternoon, he always makes me smile, that man, and he's sorting a chap from Telkom to convert Peet's phone for the local exchange, so I don't know where I'll put it, possibly in the hall, although I'd never use it there. It could go in my bedroom I suppose, although do I want a phone ringing in there if I'm asleep? Not really. The Study already has a phone in there, that German one; perhaps I could have two phones in the Study? Perhaps Peet's one could go on the table in there? A poser. Where to put the extra phone.

The hall is the obvious place but I'd never use it in there. There is a phone socket in there though. Tricky.

Went to church, there was a girl up front, I walked out for some reason I don't yet know, and she tried to humiliate me in front of the whole congregation, so everyone knows who's supplying her yeast. The kids are into telling me to grow up and that I'm a "baby", well, look at what Luke says in chapter 20 something, anyway, doesn't matter. I wish, oh I just wish they'd forget they were "Anglican" and "evangelical". Anyway. So.
