It was such a busy day that I spent most of yesterday in bed.

Things have improved since this morning, when I have taken delivery of a delivery; tomorrow I am going for some deliverance.

Praise God. Anyway, so, that's that. Thank God for his kindness, I really needed it today.

Of course when she is in our household I will ask her to learn Linux; I will not have the Gate$ virus in my home. Linux by far the superior OS any way.

I have finished setting up the Acer machine. It is now looking like the rest of my machines, a proper GNOME 2 desktop.

It is a fast machine! I almost consider giving my Ultrabook in favour of the Acer. But this Ultrabook has been such a faithful friend, I couldn't do that.

The acer doesn't appear to recognise the wifi card. I'll have to seek help with that, as well as with the shutting down issue.

Neither does it recognise the USB wireless mouse. So i've got some tweaking to do before it is working properly.

I'm not sure, but I think I put a SSD into the Gigabyte machine. So I wonder whether you can house an SSD for an external? I won't trash the Gigabyte machine - I will first see if they can repair it. Can't hurt to have a spare Netbook.

I'm going to HAVE to get the USB mouse working with the Acer. Can't stand touchpads.
