Ha, another pathetic vandalism attempt. Don't you realize that the original owner can get the password just by asking? It's pretty obvious what's happened, and Mark will be glad to oblige.
Looking at your attack pattern, I must say, you really ARE a bunch of teenage idiots. Brainpower not included.
Then again, what do you expect from a group that's called Nobody With Overintelligence? Or is that Nine Wild Ostriches?
Whatever it is, your strategy remains a constant: take an open-password account, vandalize the front page, change the password, and spam, spam, spam.
This doesn't take a lot of thought, folks.
The cure is simple: flag all open-password accounts for premoderation, something we should have done a long time ago, and we have nothing to fear from Nude Weird Ovals. If we do not let them speak, they are nothing more than a bunch of egomaniac teenagers trying frantically to convince us that we should be afraid.
But we point and laugh!
People, follow my cause. They want us to be afraid.
why should we be? Laughing at them is oh so much more fun! They can't hack the site. Those idiots just take shameless advantage of open-pass accounts, and if they all get premodded, they can do nothing at all.

it might be a good idea to post a message at Ask H2G2 asking people to re-post their adds if they had one up. Most people check h2g2 and hopefully everybodies adds will get back on again.

NB: I have just moved a posting by 'nWo' from above the noticeboard where it didn't belong, to somewhere where it does belong for now, at the bottom of the pile. Please not I am not expressing an opinion regarding any particular Researcher, but have moved it because it was in an inappropriate place.
Titania - I've been in contact with TPTB regarding this. They can't edit pages, but I've gone and checked that the message won't get us yikesed. Do you want it removed?

Surely that's not offensive enough (not friendly, I admit that) to be yikesed?
Leave it - I don't 'moderate' ads as long as they don't explicitly break the House Rules
