I've been there most weekend for the last year or two. This has now been dramatically curtailed (my bf lived there until last week!) Lots of freinds still there, but it's their turn to come visit me in Dundee now! went to Glasgow Uni, so it has a place in my heart.

You’re lucky cause you live at the coast! Has your boyfriend moved to Dundee? It’s quite far away from Glasgow, it must have been pretty exhausting to travel there every weekend.

Nope, he's moved to New Zealand. Yup, the travel was very exhausting, but not a problem now (when I go it'll be for a while!

A year in the first instance. It seemingly bepends on when/if I can get out there. And if I like it if/when I do.
It's not that I don't want to go, but current circumstances are against me...

You’re still at university, aren’t you? I wouldn’t like to live in New Zealand. Much too cold, and then it’s not even snowing in all parts of the country. Have you already been there?

Yes and no - I'm writing up my thesis (HA)It's all financial problems because I was at uni and currently can't find a job. Why do we bother I wonder?
NZ not all that differnt from Scotland apparently. Nicer Summers though.
I've not been. He went on holiday about this time last year and fell in love with the place.

I’m in a similar situation as you are: writing on my thesis + no good chances of (ever) finding a job. I’m thinking of going abroad after I’ve completed my degree, some warm place would be fine, so for sure it’s not going to be NZ.
Has your boyfriend moved to the North or to the South Island? When will you make a vacation and see him?
