Calling Hebe...

Hi there. A kind-of-query. TomCat has an interview at Leeds Trinity & All Saints College for a PGCE. Wondering what Horsforth like, just in case he gets an offer and we move there for a year! I dunno if you live anywhere near Horsforth, but I did know you lived in Leeds, so I thought maybe you could tell us if it's a dump or not!

Hope the hosue transformation is going well. Cat x smiley - bubbly

Horsforth is fine - very near to me... and some of my closest friends live there. Some bits are posher (some v posh) than others but it is a nice area. It covers quite a big area, and has it's own train station. On my occasional "think I want to move house" searches through the property pages Horsforth is always an area I consider (which might make you want to run in the opposite direction...).

Easy to get into the city centre from, got at least one reasonable park (where I take my friend's children) and several bars/pubs that I've been known to get worse for wear in. And a reasonable set of lcoal shops as well.

Fingers crossed for the interview (when is it?)

Thanks for that! Interview is 6th June. Don't know if I'll be driving him down or if he'll get the train. Glad to hear it's a nice area - and don't be silly, your consideration of moving there is a ringing endorsement in my view! smiley - biggrin

Cat x
