Oh Happy Day
Posted Jun 21, 2011
Wow!
Right after the good news about the move of h2g2 has been posted the threads nearly exploded, much like after the initial announcement by the BBC and after the h2g2c3 started discussions.
Un-freak-ing-believable, what an energy, what a community.
It feels good to be part of it, even in some small part, and I look forward to the party when noohootoo opens the gates. I know I'll be there waiting for it to open in fornt of the gate with my thermos and sleepingbag.

Back from 'vacation'
Posted Mar 17, 2011
In my previous journal entry I was a bit dramatic but I felt 'sucked in' too much and all of it because of my own enthousiasm.
Having had a small vacation including celebrating carnaval in the carnaval-capital of the Netherlands (Oeteldonk) and doing other things besides leaving muddy bootprints on the h2g2 carpet I feel better and more balanced now.
On with the show...

Bye... for now.

Yes, you've seen it right, the subject reads "Bye... for now".
In the past weeks I have become kind of obsessed with h2g2, h2g2c2, h2g2c3 and the plethora of discussions.
I have noticed in the past week that it has become quiet around here, at least in the threads I've subscribed to and that deal with the coming relocation of h2g2.
Today I read something that has made realise that my obsession is on the brink of becoming a burden on my offline life, the IRL so to speak, and I have to take a distance.
This does not mean I'm gone forever or a very long time but just... soem days, a few weeks, I don't know yet.
To them that miss me and bothered to look here: Thanks for checking and to abuse a quote : "I'll be back".

The rush is over and more deliberate thought is going into the posts and entries. A good thing.
The Magrathea's Workshop is filling the empty lots with lots of work in progress.
At times i doubt wether it is all worth the trouble to save h2g2 and then I 'find' an Entry and am motivated again.
The discussions are inspiring and maybe I will return to my poem, to enhance it with the suggestions posted, before christmas this year. Holding your breath is not advised.
