Hi Gandalf! I thought I'd leave you a little note in your 'message centre' as you were kind enough to leave one in mine. I've been checking for messages to no avail since I joined so when I saw your message I was extremely chuffed!
What was the Royal Air force like then? I was a Sea Cadet (many moons ago) and spent a week at HMS Caldrose in Dorset (otherwise known as HMS Seahawk I think) It's an airbase and I went up in a Sea King helicopter and a rescue helicopter. There were lots of women there working as aircraft engineers, which I thought was a really cool thing at the time, although I admit I'm far too dumb to ever get my head round something like engineering! Shortly after this wonderful trip I was expelled from Cadets for swearing at an officer (I had my reasons) so I figured life in the Navy perhaps wasn't for me after all!
See you around!

Welcome back!
I've just got my own home computer too so it's quite nice to visit the site out of the usual office hours (although I've no idea how much this is costing me!)
How are you finding life as a gentleman of lesuire? I'll be leaving my job probably February or March when I leave to have the baby. I'm feeling a bit nervous, leaving my friends, monthly wage packet and company pension behind.
Have you got hooked to day time television yet? I've been off of work for the past two days and it's terrible!
Speak soon!
