Granny Weatherwax - ACE - Hells Belle, Mother-in-Law from the Pit - Haunting near you on Saturday

Hi Gandalf,

My slightly worse half & I are thinking of visiting Garstang, which I understand is not too far from you, what's it like for dark skies?

I know Preston as a whole is not too good, my step-mother-in-law lives in Ingol, but north of Preston I'm completely lost.

Dark skies??
Don't fully understand your meaning there!!

Garstang is pretty easy to get to. Just leave the M6 at junction 32, and follow signs taking you north from Preston.
Garstang itself is just a small, village type affair with a couple of pubs or three, and a few shops.
It can be quite pretty when the weather is good!!

Sorry, I should have explained that we're both into amateur astronomy.

At least as much as we can be living near Manchester!!!!

I@m just going to check out your Preston bit, apart from visiting my step mother-in-law and a customer in Bamber Bridge, and a trip to the Guild Hall to see Max Boyce, Yonks ago, I don't really know Preston.

I do believe that there's a good shop for leathers tho'

Catch you later,
